We inducted Jon Burnet as the newest member of the Rotary Club of Springfield, Illinois on August 10!
Jon was introduced to Rotary through his longtime friend and former member of our club Gay Davidson, now living in The Villages, Florida. During a recent visit, Jon joined Gay and her Rotary club for a food pantry service project. During this project, Jon experienced firsthand the difference Rotarians can make in their community.
Recently retired after a distinguished career with the Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission, Jon is looking for meaningful ways to stay active and serve his community.
We’re thrilled he found his way to Springfield Rotary, and we look forward to serving alongside him!
