Annual Citrus Sale Fundraiser
We thank all members who participated in our annual citrus fundraiser by selling fruit, working in the warehouse, helping distribute fruit to customers, as well as purchasing oranges for donation to the Central Illinois Foodbank and students at Ridgely Elementary School. The article in this Newsletter by Bill Smith summarizes the results of  this fundraiser. We thank Bill Smith (image on left) for managing the whole project and serving as the warehouse czar. Thanks to Bill Sturm for providing the image below of the well organized citrus warehouse.

Membership Project Teams Launched on January 13
Six teams launched discussions of projects to increase membership at our January 13 club meeting. The teams and the projects were identified by the Membership Steering Committee based on our discussion and voting during our two club assemblies on Membership (image to left and below). See the story below by Harry Mitchell for details on the teams and their projects. We will be devoting more club meetings this winter to membership development.
