Jim Applegate: Climate Extremes: Antarctica and the Amazon
Jim is the Chair of our Club's Peace Committee, and a Consultant and former Visiting Professor for the Center of Education Policy at Illinois State University. Jim will speak about his recent trips to Antarctica (image on left and 1st image below) and the Amazon (2nd and 3rd images below). He will present slides and music. Don't miss this opportunity to vicariously travel with Jim and learn about life in two areas of extreme climate.
