Club Citrus Sales Benefit Community

Harry sold $2,900 worth of fresh oranges and grapefruit during the 2018 Citrus Sale Fundraiser. The Rotary Club of Springfield raised $10,000 from citrus sales last fall. These monies support grants to community entities for projects that serve people of need with a focus on those that combat hunger and/or foster literacy. The Rotary Club of Springfield and the Springfield Sunrise Club also donated 10,800 oranges purchased through the citrus sales to the Central Illinois Food Bank to provide nutritious oranges to families in central Illinois.
